A FAS produziu 181 publicações, entre livros, cartilhas e textos técnicos sobre a sociobiodiversidade na Amazônia, o que contribuiu com o aprofundamento e geração de conhecimento sobre problemáticas e soluções no bioma
O que sabemos sobre a Amazônia é muito pouco perto de todo o conhecimento que ela guarda em si. Reconhecendo-se aprendiz da terra e de nossos povos, que tanto ensinam sobre o conservar, a FAS trabalha para difundir e aprofundar os conhecimentos e o debate sobre a sociobiodiversidade amazônica.
Fruto das experiências acumuladas em 15 anos de história e da construção colaborativa com as populações locais, a organização produz um vasto e crescente conjunto de obras dedicadas a aspectos ambientais, sociais, econômicos e culturais da região, que contribui com a construção de conhecimento de todos.
Parte da estratégia institucional de geração de conhecimento, a FAS também constrói e mantêm parcerias com instituições de ensino e pesquisa em nível regional, nacional e internacional. Através delas, estudos são realizados em áreas de incidência da fundação e sobre temas como melhoria dos sistemas de produção sustentável em comunidades ribeirinhas, economia verde, impactos das mudanças climáticas na saúde pública.
Entre 2008 e 2022, a FAS foi responsável por 181 publicações entre artigos científicos, livros, boletins, relatórios, entre outros formatos editoriais. Cada produção é planejada e feita de acordo com a linguagem e abordagem ideal para os grupos que buscamos mobilizar.

Cartilhas de conscientização ambiental para crianças, guias de agroecologia para comunidades ribeirinhas na Amazônia, e manuais de apoio e fomento de cadeias produtivas como o turismo sustentável e o manejo de pirarucu estão entre os perfis de conteúdos que compõem o catálogo de fundação.

Prontos e impressos, os materiais seguem em direção aos seus públicos e são distribuídos em escolas, centro comunitários, Unidades de Conservação, Terras Indígenas e em outros territórios onde a FAS atua. Em um ciclo que se completa e se retroalimenta, o encontro entre o saber técnico-científico e os conhecimentos tradicionais pode germinar novas visões e entendimentos sobre a floresta e as pessoas que nela vivem, contribuindo com o desenvolvimento regional em bases sustentáveis e inclusivas.
